Roles: Lead Artist, Concept Artist, Asset Manager, Designer
During semester 2, Team Appleseed worked on a client project for Knowledge Kids, a major canadian broadcaster. We were tasked with expanding the interactivity of their website and create a fun space for their demographic to play in. We created individual character houses as a way for children to connect with the characters: Inkie, Luna, and Chip. This develops the character’s backstories and enriches their world.

I worked as concept artist for the website design, the lead artist for all parts of the website, and asset manager. I created the concept for the homes in photoshop then the hi-res versions in Illustrator. There were multiple iterations between the original sketches to the finalized vector. I designed points of interactivity (and collaborated with the team to decide what the animations would involve) based on the character home layout.
At the end, our clients were so pleased they launched the addition homes on their website June 21st.
